Curious how many GSDs in the US the participants on this thread have handled, really handled? Actually, rereading the posts, I wonder how many GSDs you guys have handled anywhere...I'm not getting the vibe of experience in all this bashing.

no you are not curious, you already know the answer. you are just creating a diversion to the OP.

you do not have to handle one or many dogs in a given country to know the overall state of things in that country.

you only need look at a variety of things like, country of birth of high performing lines in public trial venues, look at where big vendors like mike suttle are sourcing dogs from and which way is the flow of dogs ie into or out of a specific region, you know obvious stuff like that anybody committed to the truth can do.

you already know all of this so what is the point of yr post?

How would I know the answer, zip?? I have no idea at all who the poster is.

Just sounds like a bunch of internet banter based on very very little actual experience.

ETA to previous post not just country of birth of successful dogs/lines but the country of birth 1 or 2 gens back. lot of good dogs produced in the states that were born their with parents or grandparents born elsewhere and often imported in whelp.

jen why not just answer the OP, how about that for banter.

Optic and Vk, aren't you 2  glad you don't live in the US so you can get together and save the breed? I can't wait to see those results and learn what you have done to date.

by vk4gsd on 21 November 2014 - 22:11

yep, just ignore the entire question raised in the OP.

Roll eyes

why would you handle them? why not just go to a club or a group and watch the shitty performance? No need to handle someone elses dog. Just OBSERVE>

the dogs trainers are usually exceptional and can usually get them titled, a gsd who use to hide behind his owner a lot shaking got his sch1

Good trainers can train shit to higher levels. But you still can see what the dog is like by watching.  No one is saying they have not seen some amazing dogs, I saw this one amazing bitch she I think has her ring 3 now and is one tough bitch.  Her brother is weak though.

In your clubs do you pass around each others dogs like muscial chairs? Here we do not let others handle our dogs.  Why should your or my dog listen to a total stranger? Isnt that a bit stupid? Let me take your dog away from you so i can command it to sit in my car while i drive away.

Jenni i have no idea who "YOU are either" we do not need to be related to have a convo on a forum do we?

by vk4gsd on 21 November 2014 - 22:11

"In your clubs..." lol if that is a question to hexe and jen, both breeders (i believe, could be wrong).

what clubs exactly are they in and what titles????

optic, if you have time to waste to be drawn into their off topic line of questions so they can change the subject and avoid  responding to your  OP knock yrself out.

if you want to end the them just use the magic words that make them go away - show us a clip of you working your dog that you trained (preferably a currenly living dog and one you bred if you a breeder).  that scares em to high heaven.

should be easy request on anyone with an opinion and even easier for anyone who sets themselves up as a breeder.

I am not a breeder? I was not bragging about my handling skills lol I am just curious about the OT which no one answered?  Except you about the UK.  I wonder why no one imports from there?
