You have made a little girl verrrry happy Joan. I hope the father has come to realize there are more important things than how his daughter's best friend's ears stand.

Sometimes people don't realize what they have until it's gone. There was absolutely nothing wrong with that pup.

joanro, I'm pretty sure if this guys screws it up a second time, you could easily round up an angry mob, complete with pitchforks and firebrands, to stand in his yard and tell him what a putz he is...

Jus' saying.

Hey, Markobytes, that would make a pretty good song lyric.... Tongue Smile

I hope the prig learned a lesson. Frankly I didn't get the kid gene either, but what a cruel thing for a parent to do to a child. It happened to me and I still remember the sorrow 60 years later.

Awwww, that is just too sad. I concur with everyone's opinion, hope he has it figured out. Hopefully his wife gave him an earfull, too!

I am going to try to find my pups people. I have several options, but I'll let you all know when I hear from them!

btw-I read this whole thread to my husband, I was crying by the time I got to the end.....& Joanro, what a lovely pup, how anyone could be disappointed with that pup is beyond me....

by hexe on 04 March 2015 - 02:03

I'm glad you're going to reach out to them, jackie.  I think it will be welcome contact for all of you, and you'll feel better knowing all of your puppies are doing well.

Well Hexe, some people shouldn't have kids or dogs.

Nans,

Joanro...this story has me crying...that sweet little girl asking for her puppy...I'm glad her dad is listening to her.   His daughter will sleep safe every night of her young life in that family home.  I love GSDs because of my dad.

"You ask of my companions. Hills, sir, and the sundown, and a dog as large as myself that my father bought me. They are better than human beings, because they know but do not tell."
