Also, in response to Bubba's dog mentioned becoming certified, the same police dog I mentioned above passed with flying colors. It's pretty much just a sport routine.

hntrjmpr434 .. got a pedigree or just blowing smoke .. the dog may be pure WL you started off with a Mal example which has nothing to do with this thread.
by hntrjmpr434 on 24 May 2015 - 19:05
The second is a WL GSD.
Not blowing smoke, if you go back and read, I was using them as examples of police dogs that shouldnt be police dogs.
All I want to see is videos of these claimed police dogs before people can say their SL/WL breeding was a success because it produced a police dog.

Original Post .. "Who Owns or Has owned a WL X SL Cross .. facts not opinions" .. exactly what about that isn't clear?? Got an example of a good or terrible WL X SL cross that you have owned or presently own ( includes puppies or litters bred that you have a history on and pedigree )?? Show us the pedigree of the dog or registered mother and sire. Want to do a rant on terrible police dogs .. topic for another thread!! If the dog is a very good or a terrible police dog and has a WL X SL pedigree that you have let's see it. Otherwise this thread could care less about police dogs and their problems.
CARY, NC – On the heels of its first K9 retirement, the Town of Cary Police Department is proud to introduce its newest K9 officer, Enzo. Purchased from the Czech Republic, Enzo is a solid black, 17-month-old German Shepherd. He and his new partner, K9 Handler and Cary Police Officer Seth Everett, are enrolled in a three-month K9 training program in Chapel Hill that started January 4, 2010. Enzo replaces Axle, a German Shepherd that serviced both Carrboro and Cary during his seven years as a K9 Officer. His replacement allows the community to continue to benefit from around the clock K9 coverage.
“We are so grateful for the assistance Axle has provided our police department and the local communities over the years, and we really look forward to introducing Enzo into the same role,” said Major Tony Godwin, Operations Bureau Commander of the Cary Police Department. “Our K9 program is an invaluable resource to our police force as we strive to keep Cary a great place to live, work and raise a family.”
Axle ( actually Axel ) was a SL X WL cross
Pedigree previously posted.
K9 Axel
Cary's second K9 team, Officer Seth Everett and K9 Axel, began their law enforcement career in Carrboro, NC before joining the Cary Police Department in 2008. Axel, a German Shepherd born in West Germany, was given to Officer Everett as a seven week old puppy. K9 Axel worked in Cary for two years before retiring at the end of 2009. Alex was responsible for finding over 100 missing or wanted persons during his career in addition to the thousands of citizens he met during his various duties in town. We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2012, K9 Axel passed away following a well deserved retirement with the Everett family.
Axel was born in my walk in closet in Cary, NC .. his mother was German SL Sch III Ulla vom Sofienwald purchased in Germany while I lived there and returned to the USA when I returned.

I believe you mean *couldn't* care less.
I came on here to see what SL/WL crosses have produced. I would like to see videos of these "police dogs". People are naming off their SL/WL police dog like it was a successful cross. Although it very well could have been, a dog being a police dog doesn't mean it is of any quality. I just want to see some video on how they work.
I am not trying to attack SL/WL crosses, I would be asking for the same proof if were a discussion on another breed, or particular bloodline.
There is just such a discrepancy on what a good police dog is.

They are both NAPWDA certified. I get updates every so often from Bridgettes handler, pretty frequently on Rorys. I have had 3 dogs with TCSO. Must be doing something right. Btw, these were 2 of 3 w x s cross litters. I've sold/donated K9s at 12 months to 18 months out of every litter I've produced.
This was from when Bridgette was a puppy.. hopefully that works

Erros did no demos that I am aware of. He was a good strong dog.

hntrjmpr434 Don't care what you want or think for this thread if you don't have a dog to discuss and show .. the thread is for people with dogs SL X WL .. police dogs are just dogs .. many are not GSD so the discussion about what is a good police dog is for another thread .. fell free to start one and you and the other people without dogs can discuss all you want.

your asking for pedigree after pedigree .That wont show the work abilty of the dog even videos wont but at lest it shows nerve aggression and grip alot of people don't make alot of videos and certinly wont make a video of a bad dog the facts are in the lack of SLWL videos and the lack of pedigrees been showed nobody wants to put up their hands up to breeding a shit litter not good for their kennels alot of people make money from breeding and one bad litter can set you back years so to weeking your work line by breeding to aSL is not worth the chance its time you woke up SL don't add anything other than controversy if you know your breed and what your breeding for why would you add crap i don't need a pedigree to know when iv seen a SL WL 9 out of 10 times their shit and most of the time the people you see with them wouldn't know one GS from an other that the facts get a grip if you think your increasing the versatility of the breed

I just want proof. Sorry you seem to have a problem with that. A breeder saying it is a police dog isn't enough for me, I would like to see how the dog actually works. I am asking to see how the SL/WL police dogs work, I don't think that is a ridiculous request.
Melba, thanks for the video. Looks like a drivey little dog!
