A while back, I posted pictures of my new pup, Lyra. She's 1.5yrs now, and still very much of a puppy mindset; though now she's starting to get her big girl brain. "Oh, this is a job? This is MY job? Ok! I'll do it!" and she does it right the first time. That's a huge part of what I love about the workinglines, especially the DDR lineage: they might take longer to mature, but when they start to get it, they really get it.

My daughter will be turning 7yrs old this summer.

I can say the same about her *wink*

These are a few pictures taken at the USCA Sieger Show Junior Handler "exhibition." Those of you who were there Saturday know the Junior Handler class had been bumped till Sunday, but President Alloway, the stewards, and Judges put on a special "exhibition" was done for all the children who had been waiting so patiently with their dogs. It was a huge "feel good" moment for everyone involved!

Here's my daughter, Mo, with Lyra, and the two of them in the ring.

The photo of Lyra, Mo and I sitting was taken by my dear friend Chris Olson. The photo of Mo and Lyra in the ring I took as we were all running. (Lyra is used to being solo-handled with me behind her, so she steamed on ahead while I coached Mo).

I love seeing juniors in the show ring. Both  your little girls are wonderful! Job well done.
