Pedigree analysis is based on opinion ... not anything scientific or measureable. Please analyze the OP dog's pedigree and inform us all LOL. Ten people can opinionize the same pedigree and get 10 different tales to tell the fools willing to listen.

Sersi, your pup is "multicultural" -

on the father´s side ASL dogs ( no "BYB" ),
on the mother´s side European working line dogs ( German and Czech ),
no linebreeding within 7 generations.

I am not used to ASLs, Xeph is the expert in this case.
On the dam´s side there is a German/Czech blend, not unusual at all, all of them ( 2. generation + ) successful IPO dogs, the Wannaer Höhen dogs successful in IPO and police work.

I guess the breeder tried to combine American structure with European working abilities -
not the worst idea - some will like it, some won´t - almost impossible to bet on the outcome, but more than interesting.

At the end it´s about your pup, you already love her, and you are willing to "train" her - there is no reason she shouldn´t become a great dog, just try.

Keep us updated ( pictures, please )

the pedigree database was built by thousands of volunteer hours as a dedication to the breed and a tool for breed lovers to analyse pedigrees and improve their knowledge.

Bubba uses the database to take his morning shit on it and everything it was created to do.

May I use a version of your statement about PDB to send to members who think that entering a dogs' name (often mispelled) is all that is required for a dog's pedigree?

by vk4gsd on 27 January 2017 - 01:01

Yes if you bake me some cookies.

Bubaboo....like I said hocus pocus....lol....if you say so, then it is. I'm certainly not going to engage you about this. I think knowledgeable people in the breed can differentiate between our opinions....that's good enough for me.
